Arriba

Dolphin dancers and jerry curlers, welcome to Arriba, population 244! Well, that was at the 2000 census, and the town has an average population decline of about -1.5% every year. which is really about two people saying, hey. I think i've seen enough of this town. Let's move to Flagler. It's got a way cooler name. And way cooler natural disasters.
see? Plus there are only two registered sex offenders in town. That means the ratio is something like 1:122 and those are pretty good odds. if i had those odds of winning a lifetime supply of deodorant or socks, i might just move there myself. buy myself a scooter, and get the fucker runnin!

The 'Blo

well i feel like a real ace, having walked my little rocket off straight through all of denver county without even once mentioning petes kitchen, el chapultapec, feros, or race street for that matter. what's my problem? oh yeah, i got back to san francisco after driving 2,000 miles to see the kansas city royals (8-8 cactus league right now!) play ONE game in PHOENIX and realized that i had blown all my MONEY on GASOLINE and CHEESEBURGERS. and i didnt have any left for RENT or PASTA SAUCE. so i had to work again. work is hard.

i walked clear through denver, made the sunday service in colorado springs, and walked right on through to pueblo. so now i'm in pueblo. hmm. pueblo. where woodrow wilson, in the year 1919, collapsed on a nationwide tour to garner support for the league of nations. home to packard of hewlett-packard. how about that.

Surprise!

Surprise! We're back from a 2,000 mile jaunt from Denver to Surprise, Arizona to see the Kansas City Royals very first win of the 2007 season in the Cactus Leagues! This season promises to be a big one for the ol' KC boys, and we'll be passing through Kauffman Stadium before you can say oh no i am shaking hands with a kodiak bear instead of Barack Obama. At present, we're in the heart of Colorado, just thirty miles shy of Denver. Do you already know what you're going to order at Pete's Kitchen?
