The Rev.

i knew this walk would produce some accomplishments of real quality. i am proud to announce that at 6:35 pm tonight, i was officially ordained the reverend william r. weston by the ministry of the universal church of life. so not only am i back from vacation, but i'm a reverend for life now. this is way sweeter than a tattoo!

i am almost reluctant to let you all in on how easy it was for me, but i think i can still be proud of my freshly earned title and fill you all in. The church of life has ordained over 20 million ministers since 1959, and you can actually become a reverend online in this day and age. check out http://www.themonastery.org for more information. it cost something like 9 dollars, but technically you don't even need the certificate to be an internet reverand. i just figure if anybody wants to get baptised or married, they might want some paperwork that proves it.

so who wants to be baptised? friends and family will most certainly be receiving discounts on my services as a reverand, so let me know. feel free to have babies now, you've got my number!

four days in colorado provided the most calming scenery in months, i had an entirely new perception of the state coming off my time in san francisco. perhaps i didn't realize the magnitude of the city out here, nothing like a little open space to rearrange my memory. i look forward to breaking out of this nevada desert, and into some real heartland. unfortunately i need to buy my fifth pedometer, as the fourth was lost in airport transit. an entirely new system needs to be implemented, and some have suggested i write the pedometer company in hopes of a sponsorship. anybody interested in helping to make this happen? an outsiders view of the project might seem more convincing than a letter from some reverend threatening not to take another step out of nevada...

no one is marrying anyone from now on. your sins will pile up like a big pile of.. something. in a pile. don't piss off a reverend.
