Welcome to Colorado!

Here we are, on the western slope of Colorado. I've looked forward to this milestone for some time now, passing through some old homelands and territory with a little more to offer the eye. Here it's the first week of February and i've been walking for over five months. Basically i have a new appreciation for the two hour flight from San Francisco to Denver.

We're in Grand Junction now, 15th most populous city in the state of Colorado, and home to a lot of Wendy's. I checked out the local paper, the Sentinel, for the latest news on the region. Here's the image from todays front page:
